How You Got Started
It all traces back to me picking up a fly rod on my wife and I's honeymoon.
Favorite Pattern to Tie
The Iwane Dun is a really fun pattern to tie. I tie that on a Firehole 413 from sizes 14-18 depending on the species.
Favorite Species & Waters
Target Species: Bass, panfish and cichlids, plus trout on the Guadalupe
Favorite Waters to Fish: The Texas Hill Country
Being in Texas, I mainly target bass, panfish and cichlids. I love to fish the Hill Country waters. The Guadalupe also provides year-round trout opportunities as well.
Fly Tying Style & Specialties
I would consider my tying style to be well-rounded. From the get go I tried to tie multiple types of flies for multiple types of waters, so that way the limiting factor was whether or not I had the materials to tie a certain pattern.

Gear & Bench Setup
My vise is a Regal, and most of my main tools are from PGH Fly Co. My materials are all over the place as I'm not signed onto any specific company, i.e. Fulling Mill, Hareline.
Fun Fact
I can look at just about any commercial or military plane (within reason) and tell you what it is. On the ground or in the sky.
