The range handles classic Hare's Ears and Pheasant Tails, Czech and Polish styles, soft hackles, and modern tactical patterns. Wire gauge is matched to the job rather than shared across the line. Heavy wire holds in fast water. Medium wire lets soft hackle fibers move instead of pinning them stiff.
Pair with Firehole Stones round tungsten beads for bead-head patterns. The beads are sized to our wire gauges, so the bead seats where it should. Sizes run from midge up through large stonefly patterns.

The 609 is a standard length nymph hook. Use it to tie any standard nymph pattern. Can be used with a bead as the wider gape keeps from crowding the point.
This is a standard length hook with a 1X gape. It has a down eye and is formed from a medium weight wire. Available in sizes #8 to #20.
