From the Bench
A round bead and a tear drop of the same weight do not fish the same. The tapered profile cuts the column faster and holds a straighter line on the drop.
On the Metal
No tungsten body is pure tungsten. Pure tungsten is brittle at room temperature and cannot be drilled and finished at this scale, so every tungsten bead and body on the market is a heavy alloy. Ours runs 95% tungsten with a nickel-iron binder, which is the high end of that range. You get the density without the brittleness.
