My name is Jarid Church and I grew up in the mountains of North Carolina. As a young man, I spent a lot of time fishing and then, around 15, I made a natural transition to fly fishing. Shortly after taking up fly fishing, I became interested in tying flies. It was only after 2015, when I joined social media, that I started taking it more seriously. I began tying flies outside my comfort zone and trying to improve, not only in fly tying but also in photography. I mainly fish for trout, but I also enjoy fishing for bass.
