I’ve lived in the Salt Lake valley in Utah for over 30 years, but only started fly fishing and tying flies about 12 years ago. I fish high elevation streams and lakes throughout Utah and the surrounding states primarily for trout and the occasional grayling. My fly tying focuses on dry flies, small nymphs, and stillwater patterns. I enjoy combining natural and synthetic materials to create artistic yet functional patterns attractive to both fish and the flyfisher.
