From the Bench
On a jig hook the bead sits proud at the front where the fish sees it first. That is the argument for spending the extra on a speckled finish.
On the Metal
No tungsten bead is pure tungsten. Pure tungsten is brittle at room temperature and cannot be drilled and finished at this scale, so every tungsten bead on the market is a heavy alloy. Ours runs 95% tungsten with a nickel-iron binder, which is the high end of that range. You get the density without the brittleness.
