"I started fly fishing and tying a few years ago in New Zealand, drawn in by the challenge and detail behind effective flies. What really hooked me was the satisfaction of catching trout on patterns I’ve designed and tied myself—there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing an idea come together on the water. Fly tying has become a craft I genuinely enjoy, from refining small details at the vise to testing flies in real river conditions. I’m constantly learning, experimenting, and building patterns that are made to fish."
